Von Anfang an schien sich die Improvisationskraft der beiden auf wundersame Weise gegenseitig zu verstärken in ihrer extrem dichten, ereignisreichen Musik.
2024 spielten Jesús & plank dann beim „Internationalen Granada Guitar Festival – Antonio Marin“ im ausverkauften Auditorium des Centro Federico García Lorca.
Die Brücke zwischen der Musik von Jesús & plank und der Poesie von Federico García Lorca schlägt der Duende – nach Lorcas Theorie eine Schaffenskraft, die hervortritt, wenn es keinen anderen Ausweg gibt. Ein Moment zwingender authentischer Kunstproduktion, die keinen Aufschub duldet, keinem Konzept oder Plan, keiner formalen Festlegung folgt. «Das Erscheinen des Duende setzt immer einen radikalen Wandel in allen Formen voraus. From the very beginning, the two’s improvisational powers seemed to miraculously reinforce each other in their extremely dense, eventful music.
In 2024, Jesús & plank played at the „International Granada Guitar Festival – Antonio Marin“ in the sold-out auditorium of the Centro Federico García Lorca.
The bridge between the music of Jesús & plank and the poetry of Federico García Lorca is formed by the duende – according to Lorca’s theory, a creative force that emerges when there is no other way out. A moment of compelling, authentic artistic production that tolerates no delay, follows no concept or plan, no formal definition. «The arrival of the duende always presupposes a radical change in all forms. Desde el principio, la capacidad de improvisación de ambos pareció reforzarse milagrosamente en su música, extremadamente densa y llena de acontecimientos.
En 2024, Jesús & plank tocaron en el Festival Internacional de Guitarra de Granada – Antonio Marín, en un abarrotado auditorio del Centro Federico García Lorca.
El duende crea el puente entre la música de Jesús & plank y la poesía de Federico García Lorca; según la teoría lorquiana, una fuerza creativa que surge cuando no hay otra salida. Un momento de producción artística convincente y auténtica que no tolera demoras, no sigue ningún concepto ni plan, ni definición formal. «La llegada del duende presupone siempre un cambio radical en todas las formas. Sobre planos viejos, da sensaciones de frescura totalmente inéditas, con una calidad de cosa recién creada, de milagro, que llega a producir un entusiasmo casi religioso».
